TabTrade Review - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

This is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
